Perseid Meteors Peak Tonight

For some people, the "Glorious Twelfth" signifies the start of the season when they can blast the shit out of grouse with their shotguns. For me, however, it signifies the peak of the Perseids meteor shower. While we’ve been having abysmal weather recently, I can but hope that the cloud cover will not be 100% tonight as it has been for the past n months.
