This year for the first time in decades my vote against Trump may actually have an effect on the outcome. That’s because in from 1992 until 2018 I lived in the “Blue State” of Connecticut but now I live in the”Swing State” of Iowa. For readers not familiar with the bizarre system that gives Trump a chance of a second term despite the near certainty that he will lose the popular vote by an even bigger margin than the last time around, look up “Swing State” in Wikipedia.
