I’ve mentioned a few times here that our brain’s operating system still appears to be at version 1.0, and that we are in dire need of an upgrade. I’ve just learned that MIT recently held a one-day symposium, wittily titled H2.O, devoted to discussing ways in which the human mind and body can be augmented by technology.
